Hello! I'm Marina!

I love and fall in love with Japan, where I have lived for 21 years.

I am a Japanese specialist, guide to the mysterious Japan, and ambassador of my brand, KITSUNE. KITSUNE was founded in February 2024 with the concept “Discover Japanese traditions by immersing yourself in Japan’s matcha culture.”

The KITSUNE original brand offers a variety of high-quality Japanese matcha from a master NAGATANI family teahouse in Uji (Kyoto), as well as chado (tea ceremony) utensils and accessories that are handmade, and ALL MADE IN JAPAN.

The tea ritual has always been a moment for me to reflect and quiet the mind from the hustle of everyday life - I yearned to create something with the same sense of subtlety and grace.

I hope to be a part of the movement in a new wave of appreciation for the elegant Zen ritual of the Japanese Tea Ceremony.

I wanted to create accessibility to authentic, handmade tea accessories and ceremonial Japanese matcha from Uji (Kyoto), considered premium by the top tea regions of Japan, and introduce them to the world in a manner consistent with its rich history.

The rich traditions surrounding Japanese tea enrapture the Japanese people's delicate aesthetics, which are Japan's spiritual and cultural pride.
